Rontra Freight to Lease up to 50,000 Square Feet at New Prologis Site in City of SeaTac

City of SeaTac, Wash. (January 27, 2009) -- Rontra Freight announces they have signed a lease to be the first tenant in a new ProLogis development in the City of SeaTac. The company plans to initially occupy 35,000 square feet by March 1, 2009 and is already planning on an additional 15,000 square feet in the near future.
“You can’t beat the proximity to the airport at this location,” said Art Stipan of Rontra Freight. “And we have a great working relationship with ProLogis as we already lease space in our Portland location with them.”
Rontra Freight employs 38 workers in their Seattle operation. They were previously located at another location in the City of SeaTac. They expect to be in the new space by the beginning of March.
“The ProLogis distribution center is a very important development for the City of SeaTac and Rontra Freight is a great long time business partner in our region,” said Jeff Robinson, economic development manager for the City. “The new ProLogis facility is comprised of two 122,500 square feet buildings that can be divided to meet a wide variety of needs.”
