City of SeaTac, Wash. (July 30, 2009) -- DataSite has signed a 10-year lease to relocate to the ProLogis Park SeaTac located at South 208th Street at International Blvd. in the City of SeaTac, Wash. effective August 1, 2009.
“The City of SeaTac’s central location on the I-5 corridor is a perfect match for our business,” said Dale Mitchell, principal with DataSite. “This gives us the added space we need for our growth while at the same time being conveniently located between Seattle and our expanding market in Tacoma.”
The space will be operational no later than Sept. 1. The company currently has offices in Seattle and Bellevue, Wash. By 2011 DataSite expects to have 25 employees at their SeaTac location.
“We are pleased that even during the recent economic downturn new businesses are choosing SeaTac when they relocate or expand ”, said Craig Ward, city manager for the City of SeaTac. “We believe this bodes well for even better things to come and is a clear indication that SeaTac provides an attractive combination of transportation, taxation and real estate advantages to a broad range of companies.”
“ProLogis Park SeaTac continues to bring outstanding long term tenants to our city,” said Jeff Robinson, Economic Development Manager for the City of SeaTac. “We are eager to welcome DataSite to the community and help them make a smooth transition.”
